Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Downloads TikTok videos in bulk from a text file of URLs using yt-dlp. Supports custom output directories and skips comment lines in the URL list. Reports successful and failed downloads with reasons.
Handles an entire URL list in one command rather than downloading videos one by one through a browser or manual tool.
When to use it
- Archiving a list of saved TikTok videos locally
- Batch downloading videos from a creator before an account goes private
- Processing a URL list collected from a spreadsheet or notes app
- Saving TikTok content for offline review or editing
- Re-downloading a specific subset by editing the URL file
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: download all TikToks in my_urls.txt to the folder archive/
- 1Verify my_urls.txt exists and contains at least one non-comment URL
- 2Run: python3 skills/bulk-tiktok-downloader/scripts/downloader.py my_urls.txt archive/
- 3Monitor output for per-URL success or failure status
- 4Collect failed URLs and classify each reason (private, deleted, region-restricted, rate-limited)
- 5Report final counts: X succeeded, Y failed, with the failed URL list
