Setup & Installation
Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Copies local files into a OneDrive folder so they can be accessed or shared via Telegram or WhatsApp. Files are renamed to include their source path, avoiding collisions. Configuration is stored in a per-machine config.env file alongside the skill.
Avoids the file size and formatting limitations of Telegram and WhatsApp by routing files through OneDrive instead.
When to use it
- Sharing a long PDF over Telegram without file size issues
- Moving a WSL file into OneDrive for a Windows user to open
- Uploading a downloaded browser document to OneDrive for sharing
- Archiving work files into an organized OneDrive subfolder
- Providing a colleague a OneDrive link instead of pasting raw content
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: can you put /home/miles/report.pdf into OneDrive so I can share it on Telegram?
- 1Reads config.env to get ONEDRIVE_ROOT and ONEDRIVE_SUBDIR
- 2Runs copy_to_onedrive.py with /home/miles/report.pdf as argument
- 3Script renames file to wsl-home-miles-report.pdf and copies it to OneDrive folder
- 4Prints destination path to confirm placement
File copied to /mnt/c/Users/<user>/OneDrive/openclaw/wsl-home-miles-report.pdf
