Setup & Installation

openclaw skills install @muslimalfatih/server-health

Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:

npx clawhub install server-health

What This Skill Does

A bash script that reports system health across four output modes: standard, verbose, JSON, and alerts-only. Covers CPU, RAM, disk, top processes by resource use, OpenClaw gateway status and config, and running service states.

Combines system stats, process inspection, gateway status, and service checks into one script run instead of chaining multiple commands manually.

When to use it

  • Checking server load before deploying a new release
  • Spotting runaway processes eating CPU or RAM
  • Verifying all required services are up after a reboot
  • Piping JSON output into an external monitoring or alerting script
  • Getting a quick OpenClaw gateway status and active session count

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: what is the current state of the server?

AGENT
  1. 1Runs ./server-health.sh to collect system metrics
  2. 2Reads CPU, RAM, and disk usage percentages from output
  3. 3Checks OpenClaw gateway PID, uptime, port, and active session count
  4. 4Lists running services including Docker container count and PostgreSQL status
  5. 5Returns a formatted summary to the user
OUTPUT

CPU at 42%, RAM at 18%, disk at 45%, OpenClaw running on port 18789 with 3 active sessions, Docker and PostgreSQL healthy
