Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Converts RSS or Atom feed URLs into Markdown using a bundled local Python script. Supports writing to a file, limiting item count, and choosing between short or full output templates.
Running locally with a bundled script means no external API calls or auth setup required for basic feed conversion.
When to use it
- Saving a blog's latest posts as a Markdown file for offline reading
- Pulling a podcast feed into notes format
- Archiving newsletter content as Markdown
- Limiting a noisy feed to the 5 most recent items
- Generating a full-summary digest from a news feed
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: convert https://example.com/feed.xml to a Markdown file with the last 10 items and full summaries
- 1Validates the URL is http/https and resolves to a public IP
- 2Constructs the command as separate argv tokens to avoid shell injection
- 3Runs python3 scripts/feed_to_md.py with --limit 10, --template full, and --output flags
- 4Writes output to a workspace-relative .md file
