Version History
equity-valuation-framework v1.0.3 - Documentation updated in SKILL.md for consistency, clarity, and completeness. - No changes to core logic or features—functionality remains the same. - Structure and documentation practices improved for better reliability and easier use.
What This Skill Does
Transforms pre-fetched financial data into a structured equity valuation report covering relative multiples, DCF, scenario analysis, and margin-of-safety assessment. Designed for Vietnamese equity markets but applicable broadly. Does not fetch data itself — relies on upstream data skills.
Enforces a consistent, auditable valuation standard across sessions so reports don't vary in structure or rigor depending on how questions are phrased.
When to use it
- Value a steel stock with bull/base/bear scenarios
- Compare two bank stocks on P/B and ROE
- Build an investment memo with sensitivity table
- Review a portfolio position for margin-of-safety discipline
- Rank a shortlist of stocks using a weighted scoring rubric
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: 'Value HPG with bull/base/bear and margin of safety, data already fetched from vnstock'
- 1Validates input bundle completeness and assigns a confidence tier
- 2Runs relative valuation using P/E, P/B, and EV/EBITDA against peer median and 5-year history
- 3Builds bull, base, and bear scenarios with explicit revenue and margin assumptions
- 4Runs DCF with WACC sensitivity grid (±100 bps) and terminal growth (±50 bps)
- 5Triangulates fair value range, defines safety zone, and surfaces missing data gaps
Structured 9-section report with executive summary, multiples table, DCF sensitivity, business quality checklist, risk register, and confidence disclosure
