What This Skill Does
Predicts Animal Crossing: New Horizons turnip prices using the game's actual algorithm. It tracks weekly buy and sell prices in a local memory file, calculates pattern probabilities, and generates a chart with each update. Optional cron reminders prompt you to log prices at the right times each day.
Uses the game's actual price algorithm rather than community approximations, so the pattern probabilities match what the game itself would generate.
When to use it
- Deciding whether to hold or sell before a potential spike
- Logging Tuesday's price to narrow down this week's pattern
- Getting a chart of min/max price ranges for the rest of the week
- Setting up daily pings so you don't miss a price window
- Checking if a decreasing week means you should cut losses now

User asks: I bought turnips for 96 bells Sunday. Monday AM was 84, Monday PM was 81, Tuesday AM was 78. What's my outlook?
- 1Read memory/turnip-week.json to load any previously stored prices for the week
- 2Update the prices array with the three provided values and save the file
- 3Run turnip_predict.py with the buy price and known prices to get pattern probabilities and min/max ranges
- 4Run generate_chart.py to produce a chart image showing known prices against predicted ranges
- 5Send the chart with a pattern odds breakdown and a specific recommendation on when to check next or whether to sell
