Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
A bridge for interacting with self-hosted Immich photo management instances via REST API. Covers assets, albums, libraries, users, search, and background jobs. Supports both environment variable and CLI argument configuration.
Exposes the full Immich REST API through a pre-configured bridge, so automations don't require manually constructing auth headers or endpoint paths each time.
When to use it
- Bulk uploading a folder of photos to Immich
- Downloading a specific album to local storage
- Searching photos by keyword across a library
- Triggering thumbnail regeneration jobs
- Listing and managing users on a shared Immich instance
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: upload all photos from ./vacation folder to a new album called 'Summer 2025'
- 1Authenticate against the Immich instance using IMMICH_API_KEY and IMMICH_URL
- 2Create a new album named 'Summer 2025' via POST /api/albums
- 3Run upload_photos.py targeting the ./vacation folder
- 4Retrieve the uploaded asset IDs and add them to the new album
- 5Confirm album contents via GET /api/albums/{albumId}
Album 'Summer 2025' created and populated with all photos from the vacation folder
