Version History

v1.3.3Feb 13, 2026 - Version note by skill developer:

Remove invented sensitivity metadata field

What This Skill Does

Connects to a Loxone Miniserver over HTTP and WebSocket to query and control smart home devices. Supports reading room temperatures, light states, and other sensor data, as well as sending on/off commands to controls. Real-time event watching is available via WebSocket with HTTP fallback.

Combines real-time WebSocket streaming with a reliable HTTP fallback, so you get live updates without losing access when WebSocket auth fails.

When to use it

  • Check current temperature in a specific room
  • Turn lights on or off by room and control name
  • Watch live sensor events as they change
  • Get a full map of all devices and rooms
  • Monitor a room's state over a set duration

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: What's the temperature in the living room right now?

AGENT
  1. 1Run `python3 scripts/loxone.py rooms` to list available rooms
  2. 2Identify the correct room name from the output
  3. 3Run `python3 scripts/loxone.py status "Living Room"` to fetch current state
  4. 4Parse the response for temperature value
OUTPUT

Returns current temperature and device states for the Living Room
