Publishes markdown content to a hosted URL via a single curl POST request. Supports Mermaid diagrams, KaTeX math notation, and syntax-highlighted code blocks. Returns a shareable link to the rendered document.
Renders and hosts markdown with diagrams and math in one request, with no account, build step, or hosting setup required.
When to use it
- Share a software architecture diagram with a colleague
- Publish a math derivation without setting up a static site
- Send rendered API documentation to a client
- Turn a Mermaid flowchart into a linkable page
- Distribute system documentation with an expiry date
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: publish this sequence diagram as a shareable link
- 1Wrap the markdown content in a JSON payload with optional title and expires_hours fields
- 2POST the payload to https://auteng.ai/api/tools/docs/publish-markdown/ using curl
- 3Parse the response JSON and extract the share_url field
- 4Verify share_url is present, otherwise surface the full error response
A shareable URL pointing to the rendered document, e.g. https://auteng.ai/docs/abc123
