What This Skill Does

Connects to the public ClinicalTrials.gov API to search and retrieve clinical trial data. Supports filtering by condition, intervention, phase, and status, and can fetch full study details by NCT ID.

Surfaces structured trial data directly in an agent workflow without requiring manual navigation of the ClinicalTrials.gov website or a separate API key.

When to use it

  • Finding recruiting trials for a rare disease diagnosis
  • Checking trial phase and status for a specific drug
  • Researching repurposing candidates for an existing compound
  • Looking up study details by NCT ID for a literature review
  • Comparing available interventions across trials for a condition
