What This Skill Does
Analyzes pre-collected GHIN golf data from a local JSON file, computing handicap trends, scoring patterns, course performance, and historical breakdowns. Outputs results in human-readable text or structured JSON. All processing runs locally with no network access or credential handling.
Since GHIN has no public API for score history, this skill processes locally exported data without requiring credentials or network access during analysis.
When to use it
- Tracking handicap index trend over recent rounds
- Identifying which courses you score best on by average
- Reviewing year-by-year round counts and scoring averages
- Finding your top 5 best differentials with course and date details
- Analyzing GIR percentage and fairway hit rates across your history
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Analyze my golf statistics from my GHIN data file
- 1Reads the specified GHIN data JSON file from the local filesystem
- 2Computes current handicap index and determines trend direction from recent rounds
- 3Identifies the best 5 scoring differentials with associated course and date
- 4Aggregates round counts and average scores by course and by year
- 5Outputs a formatted report covering handicap, lifetime totals, course breakdowns, and yearly performance
A text report showing current handicap (e.g. 18.0, improving trend), lifetime round count, best differentials with course names and dates, most-played courses with average scores, and year-by-year breakdown
