Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
Version History
- Security improvement: Token encryption now uses a unique 32-byte random salt stored at ~/.openclaw/.picsee_salt for key derivation, making keys unpredictable even if hostname/username are known. - Both the encrypted token and salt files are now stored with 0600 permissions to enhance security. - Temporary PNG files are saved to a dedicated tmp directory within the skill's workspace. - Updated documentation to reflect new storage paths and the improved security model.
What This Skill Does
PicSee Short Link shortens URLs, generates QR codes, and provides click analytics via CLI. It operates in unauthenticated mode for basic shortening and QR generation, or authenticated mode for full analytics, link search, editing, and tagging.
Combines URL shortening, QR code generation, and click analytics in one CLI tool, removing the need to switch between separate services.
When to use it
- Shortening a long URL before sharing in a message or social post
- Generating a QR code for print materials or event signage
- Checking daily click counts on a marketing campaign link
- Searching and filtering shortened links by tag or keyword
- Adding UTM parameters to track traffic sources for a link
