Version History

v2.0.2Mar 5, 2026 - Version note by skill developer:

Remove undeclared openclaw platform references from all skill files

What This Skill Does

Automates web browser interactions from the CLI using the browse command. Works with a local Chrome instance by default or a remote Browserbase session when API credentials are provided. Remote mode adds automatic CAPTCHA solving, anti-bot stealth, and residential proxies for sites with bot protection.

Unlike custom headless browser scripts, it handles CAPTCHA solving and anti-bot fingerprinting automatically through remote Browserbase sessions without requiring any browser driver setup.

When to use it

  • Scraping prices from sites with bot detection or Cloudflare protection
  • Filling and submitting web forms on external sites
  • Extracting data from JavaScript-rendered dashboards
  • Taking page screenshots for visual regression or documentation
  • Automating login flows and session-based web interactions

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Get the current stock price from a financial site that blocks scrapers

AGENT
  1. 1Switches to remote mode with `browse env remote` to enable stealth and CAPTCHA handling
  2. 2Opens the target page with `browse open <url>`
  3. 3Runs `browse snapshot` to read the accessibility tree and locate the price element ref
  4. 4Extracts the price text with `browse get text <selector>`
  5. 5Stops the session with `browse stop`
OUTPUT

Stock price text extracted from the bot-protected page
