What This Skill Does

The Paperzilla CLI (pz) connects to your Paperzilla account to fetch and filter academic paper feeds by project. It supports must-read filtering, date ranges, result limits, JSON export, and Atom feed URL generation for RSS readers.

JSON output lets you pipe paper metadata directly into scripts or LLMs without copying from a web UI.

When to use it

  • Review must-read papers from a research project each morning
  • Export recent papers to JSON and pipe into an LLM for summaries
  • Get an Atom feed URL to follow a topic in Feedly or NetNewsWire
  • Filter papers published after a specific date for a literature review
  • List all Paperzilla projects and their IDs from the terminal

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: show me must-read AI papers from the past week

AGENT
  1. 1Run `pz project list` to retrieve available projects and their IDs
  2. 2Identify the relevant project ID for the AI research feed
  3. 3Run `pz feed <project-id> --must-read --since 2026-03-11 --json` to fetch filtered results
  4. 4Parse the JSON output to extract paper titles and abstracts
OUTPUT

A JSON list of must-read papers published in the past week, ready for further processing
