What This Skill Does
Connects to Canvas LMS (by Instructure) via its REST API to read course data, assignments, grades, and submissions. Supports querying due dates, missing work, announcements, files, and inbox messages.
Querying Canvas via API lets you pull and combine data across multiple courses in a single call, rather than navigating each course separately in the web interface.
When to use it
- Check which assignments are due this week
- Find missing or overdue submissions before a deadline
- Look up current grade scores across enrolled courses
- Browse course files and module content
- Read recent course announcements
