What This Skill Does
Connects to the AIGoHotel MCP server to search hotels by destination, dates, star rating, and preference filters. Retrieves real-time room types, pricing, and cancellation policies for a selected hotel. Also fetches tag metadata to map natural-language preferences into structured search parameters.
Handles the full hotel discovery workflow, from broad search to room-level pricing and booking links, in a single MCP interface without requiring the user to visit separate services.
When to use it
- Finding hotels near a train station for an upcoming business trip
- Comparing room prices and cancellation policies for a specific hotel
- Filtering hotels by amenities like free WiFi or pool access
- Searching for family-friendly hotels in a city district with a nightly budget
- Getting a direct booking link for a chosen hotel and date range
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Find a 4-star hotel near the Eiffel Tower for 2 adults, 3 nights starting this Friday
- 1Calls getHotelSearchTags to identify tags matching user preferences such as 'Free WiFi' or 'Family-friendly hotel'
- 2Calls searchHotels with place set to 'Eiffel Tower', placeType set to attraction, starRatings [4,5], adultCount 2, stayNights 3
- 3Receives a list of hotels with names, scores, lowest prices, and booking URLs
- 4User selects a hotel; calls getHotelDetail with the returned hotelId and check-in/check-out dates
- 5Returns available room types, total prices per room plan, cancellation policies, and a booking link
Formatted summary of 3-5 room options with pricing, free-cancellation status, and a direct booking URL
