What This Skill Does
Automates a Kosmi watch party room by acting as a video DJ. Uses agent-browser to navigate the room UI, queue videos by URL, and loop playback continuously. Works by driving the browser directly, so no Kosmi API or developer access is needed.
Controls Kosmi through browser automation rather than an API, so it works without any official integration or developer access.
When to use it
- Queuing YouTube videos in a Kosmi watch party without touching the browser
- Running an auto-looping video playlist overnight for a virtual hangout
- Joining a Kosmi room under a bot display name
- Playing a specific video URL on demand during a watch session
- Stopping or restarting the background DJ loop process
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Play this video in my Kosmi room: https://youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
- 1Loads environment variables including KOSMI_ROOM_URL from the .env file
- 2Runs kosmi-connect.sh to open the room and handles any login or nickname prompts
- 3Runs kosmi-play.sh with the provided video URL
- 4Opens the media modal, fills the URL input, and clicks Play
- 5Confirms playback started by checking for player UI elements in the accessibility snapshot
Video begins playing in the Kosmi room for all participants
