Version History

v1.2.3Mar 12, 2026 - Version note by skill developer:

fix(security): patch 4 vulnerabilities in nextcloud.py

What This Skill Does

Manages files and folders on a Nextcloud instance via WebDAV and OCS API. Supports creating, reading, writing, renaming, moving, copying, deleting, listing, and searching files. Also handles favorites, system tags, and storage quota checks.

Uses only Python stdlib with no external dependencies, so it works in any Python 3.9+ environment without installing packages.

When to use it

  • Saving AI-generated article summaries as Markdown files to Nextcloud
  • Appending daily entries to a running log file on Nextcloud
  • Organizing a workspace by creating structured folder hierarchies
  • Tagging files by status such as draft, published, or research
  • Checking available storage quota before starting a large upload

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Save this article summary to my Nextcloud drafts folder

AGENT
  1. 1Connects to Nextcloud using NC_URL, NC_USER, and NC_APP_KEY credentials
  2. 2Verifies the /Drafts folder exists within the configured base_path
  3. 3Writes the summary content as /Drafts/summary.md
  4. 4Confirms the file was created and returns its path
OUTPUT

File saved to /Drafts/summary.md on Nextcloud
