What This Skill Does
A portable identity system for AI agents. Generates agent.json identity cards via an interactive script, validates them against the Agent Card v1 JSON schema, and supports hosting at well-known URLs for agent discovery.
Provides a versioned schema and ready-made scripts so agent identity doesn't have to be defined from scratch each project.
When to use it
- Creating a standard identity card for a new AI agent
- Validating an agent.json before deploying to production
- Publishing a multi-agent team roster to a shared URL
- Defining protocol and capability tags for an agent
- Registering an agent in the foragents.dev global directory
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

- 1Runs ./scripts/init.sh to start interactive setup
- 2Prompts for name, handle, description, owner, and capabilities
- 3Outputs a valid agent.json file
- 4Runs ./scripts/validate.sh to confirm the card passes schema validation
