Version History
- Changed all API endpoints from api.116ideas.com to api.dizest.ai. - Updated instructions for obtaining an API key: now requires downloading Dizest, creating and activating an account via the app, and then generating a key. - Expanded authentication troubleshooting and guidance for new users. - Minor documentation updates to match new URLs and onboarding flow. - No code changes; documentation only.
What This Skill Does
Sends articles, research papers, PDFs, podcasts, YouTube videos, or plain text to the Dizest API and returns a structured summary. The API handles URL fetching, content extraction, and processing server-side. Supports custom focus instructions and output in different languages.
URL fetching, paywall detection, and content extraction all happen server-side, so no scraping setup or pre-processing is needed on the agent side.
When to use it
- Summarizing a research paper to extract methodology and key findings
- Getting a digest of a long YouTube podcast episode
- Summarizing a PDF market report by URL
- Condensing a blog post or article into structured notes
- Summarizing pasted meeting transcripts with a specific focus

- 2Receive execution_id from the response
- 3Connect to GET /v1/executions/<execution_id>/events via SSE
- 4Stream summary events to the user as they arrive
- 5Present the complete summary when the stream closes
