Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Replaces OpenClaw's built-in web_search and web_fetch tools with UniFuncs-powered alternatives. Provides three script-based capabilities: webpage content extraction, AI-powered web search, and deep research across multiple sources.
Deep research mode synthesizes information across multiple sources in one call, which neither built-in web_search nor web_fetch can do.
When to use it
- Extracting readable content from an article before summarizing it
- Searching for recent news with freshness filtering by day, week, or month
- Researching a technical topic across multiple web sources at once
- Pulling only topic-relevant sections from a long webpage
- Paginating through search results programmatically
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: What are the latest developments in AI agents?
- 1Runs deepsearch.js with the research question as input
- 2UniFuncs queries multiple sources via deep search
- 3Results are returned as structured JSON with success and data fields
- 4Agent reads the data field and synthesizes findings into a response
