What This Skill Does
Generates algorithmic generative art using p5.js with seeded randomness. Creates a philosophy document defining the computational aesthetic, then expresses it as an interactive HTML viewer with parameter sliders and seed navigation controls. The same seed always produces identical output.
Seeded randomness makes any specific artwork exactly reproducible while the built-in seed navigator lets users explore thousands of variations interactively without additional prompts.
When to use it
- Generating a reproducible desktop wallpaper with a specific visual seed
- Building an interactive particle system animation for a portfolio site
- Exploring flow field variations by cycling through seeds without rerunning the model
- Creating a parametric art piece with adjustable noise scale and particle density
- Sharing a self-contained generative artwork as a single HTML file
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Create a generative flow field artwork
- 1Writes an algorithmic philosophy document defining the computational aesthetic movement
- 2Deduces a conceptual seed to embed as subtle visual DNA in the algorithm
- 3Implements the p5.js sketch with seeded noise, particle behaviors, and tunable parameters
- 4Builds a self-contained HTML viewer using the template structure with sidebar seed controls and parameter sliders
- 5Outputs the interactive file ready to open in any browser with no setup
A single HTML file with a live p5.js canvas, seed navigation buttons, and real-time parameter sliders for exploring variations
