Version History

v2.0.0Mar 14, 2026 - Version note by skill developer:

March 2026: updated platform limits, new API docs, Threads nesting warning

What This Skill Does

Posts and schedules images, carousels, and reels to Instagram using the Publora API. Requires an Instagram Business account connected to a Facebook Page via the Publora dashboard. Creator and personal accounts are not supported by the Instagram Graph API.

Handles the multi-step Instagram media upload flow (create post, get upload URL, PUT to S3) through a single API, removing the need to manage the Instagram Graph API's container publishing process directly.

When to use it

  • Scheduling a product photo post for a specific date and time
  • Publishing a 10-image carousel from an automated content pipeline
  • Uploading a short Reel from a video file without opening the Instagram app
  • Batching weekly Instagram posts from a backend service
  • Integrating Instagram publishing into a content management workflow
