Security hardening: add strict agent_id/path validation in delete script, restrict workspace deletion to safe claw-* paths under home, enforce 3-step confirmation gates, and require explicit approval before any gateway restart/browser-driven Telegram group deletion.
What This Skill Does
Permanently removes an OpenClaw agent and all its associated artifacts: config entries, local agent files under ~/.openclaw/agents, bindings, Telegram group routing config, workspace directory, and cron jobs. Deletion follows a 3-step confirmation gate with a dry-run preview first. Telegram group deletion requires a separate explicit confirmation and uses browser automation via Telegram Web.
The dry-run preview and 3-step confirmation gate prevent accidental deletion of config files, workspaces, or Telegram groups that would otherwise require manual recovery from script-created backups.
When to use it
- Removing a retired agent and its workspace after a project ends
- Cleaning up test agents created during development
- Decommissioning an agent alongside its dedicated Telegram group
- Deleting stale cron jobs left by an unused agent
- Resetting agent config entries after a failed setup
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: delete agent 'news-bot' including its workspace, Telegram group config, and dedicated Telegram group
- 1Run dry-run to list all files and config entries that would be removed
- 2Present dry-run output and request explicit confirmation for local deletion
- 3Execute delete script with --yes --delete-workspace --delete-telegram-group-config --delete-cron-jobs
- 4Request separate explicit confirmation before browser-automated Telegram group deletion
- 5Open Telegram Web, delete the group with 'Delete for all members', and report final group status
