Version History

v1.0.3Mar 5, 2026 - Version note by skill developer:

No user-visible changes in this release; the skill documentation, code, and configuration are unchanged.

What This Skill Does

Handles AI video editing by uploading a local mp4 or mov file to Sparki's cloud API, applying a style and creative direction, and returning a processed download URL. Supports highlight reels, short-form clips, captions, aspect ratio conversion, vlogs, and montages.

Replaces manual ffmpeg pipelines with a single command that handles async upload, AI processing, and download URL retrieval automatically.

When to use it

  • Cutting a 45-minute webinar into a 90-second Instagram Reel
  • Adding auto-generated captions to a talking-head interview
  • Reformatting landscape footage to 9:16 for TikTok or Shorts
  • Extracting best moments from a sports match recording
  • Turning raw travel clips into a polished vlog with a single prompt

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
