Setup & Installation
Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Manages EVM wallets and transactions through Foundry's cast CLI. Covers wallet creation and key import, balance checks, sending native coins and ERC-20 tokens, and transaction verification. Onboarding runs step by step, storing an encrypted keystore locally for agent use.
Handles the full wallet lifecycle in a terminal without a browser extension or GUI wallet, keeping keys in an encrypted local keystore the agent can use directly.
When to use it
- Creating a new EVM wallet or importing an existing mnemonic phrase
- Checking native coin or token balances on a chosen network
- Sending ETH or ERC-20 tokens to another address
- Looking up a transaction receipt to confirm a send completed
- Switching the active network and RPC endpoint
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Send 0.05 ETH to 0x742d35Cc6634C0532925a3b8D4C9e2e3f1b2a4d5
- 1Runs check_wallet.sh to confirm a keystore and address exist
- 2Runs show_network.sh and queries cast balance to display current balance and network
- 3Executes cast send with the keystore, recipient address, and --value 0.05ether
- 4Fetches the receipt with cast receipt to verify status and gas used
- 5Appends the tx hash and a one-line description to logs/tx_mentions.log
Transaction confirmed: status 1, gas used displayed, tx hash recorded in the workspace log
