What This Skill Does

An HTTP API for MakeX apps to discover and execute actions from third-party services like Gmail, Slack, and GitHub via Composio. All requests use a server-to-server token model. Four core endpoints cover searching available actions, checking connected accounts, fetching action specs, and running actions.

A single token-authenticated API replaces the need to manage separate SDKs or OAuth flows for each third-party service.

When to use it

  • Sending a Gmail message from an AI agent workflow
  • Checking whether a Slack integration is active before triggering a notification
  • Looking up what GitHub actions are available for a connected org
  • Fetching the input/output schema for a specific action before executing it
  • Running a Composio-backed action with structured arguments from a MakeX app

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: send an email to alice@example.com saying the report is ready

AGENT
  1. 1Call search-actions with integrations: ["gmail"] and search: "send" to find GMAIL_SEND_EMAIL
  2. 2Call connected-account with integration: "gmail" to retrieve the accountId
  3. 3Call action-details with action_slug: "GMAIL_SEND_EMAIL" to confirm required input parameters
  4. 4Call run-action with toolName: "GMAIL_SEND_EMAIL", the retrieved accountId, and arguments for to, subject, and body
OUTPUT

Gmail sends the email and returns a messageId and threadId
