Setup & Installation

openclaw skills install @trumppo/fullbackup

Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:

npx clawhub install fullbackup

What This Skill Does

Runs a bundled script that archives the OpenClaw workspace and configuration to /root/.openclaw/backups. Caches and logs are automatically excluded from the archive. Triggered via /fullbackup in Telegram or directly from the command line.

The script handles cache and log exclusions automatically, so the archive stays lean without manual filtering.

When to use it

  • Backing up workspace before a major configuration change
  • Creating a restore point before updating OpenClaw
  • Archiving skill configurations for safekeeping
  • Taking a snapshot before experimenting with new integrations
  • Preserving workspace state at the end of a session
