What This Skill Does

Web search tool that routes queries through the NanoGPT API to seven different search providers. Returns results as raw search hits, synthesized answers with citations, or structured JSON. Provider, depth, date range, and domain filters are configurable per query.

One API key gives access to seven search backends with per-query pricing, so you can pick the cheapest or most capable provider without managing separate credentials for each.

When to use it

  • Fetching recent news within a specific date range
  • Getting a cited answer to a factual research question
  • Piping search results as JSON into a downstream script
  • Restricting results to a set of trusted domains
  • Comparing output across different search providers for the same query
