What This Skill Does
Reflective tarot draws using only the 22 Major Arcana cards, framed as a symbolic mirror rather than prediction. Supports single-card or three-card spreads for grounding and meaning-making. Follows agency-first, non-clinical language throughout.
Uses structured spreads and calibrated language to stay symbolic and non-directive, unlike generic advice or prediction-framed tarot responses.
When to use it
- Drawing a card when feeling stuck or uncertain about a decision
- Getting a three-card spread to reflect on a difficult situation
- Finding a gentle anchor before a major life change
- Processing emotions after a hard conversation
- Quiet self-reflection during a stressful period
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Can you draw me a tarot card? I've been feeling really uncertain about a big change.
- 1Asks whether the user wants a single card or three-card spread
- 2Optionally invites the user to share a question or keep it open
- 3Randomly selects a card internally with optional reversal (~35% chance)
- 4Presents the card name, keywords, and a calm 5-8 line reflection
- 5Closes with one invitation question
A single-card reading, e.g. The Hanged Man (upright), with keywords like pause and new perspective, a reflection on the value of stillness, and a closing question inviting the user to consider what they might see from a different angle.
